Faith Formation

PROTECTING GOD'S CHILDREN   VIRTUS TRAINING:  will be held here at St. Mary Magdalen Church on Saturday, February 11, 2012 from 9 a.m. to Noon.  Please sign up either online at http://www.virtusonline.org/ or call the office and Joe Hakeem would be happy to help you.  This training is a must for any adult who will be working in any capacity with children.

 

*** Children's Liturgy of the Word is held during the 11:00 a.m. Mass for children ages 3-8 years old.

Faith Formation Calendar 2011/12
  • Please note that classes are held on the Wednesdays that are highlighted.
  • Our evening schedule is:
    •  5:15-6:00 p.m. - Dinner is served in the Family Center.  ($2 for children, $3 for adults with a maximum of $10 per family).
    • 6:15 p.m. - Class begins in church with prayer.  Please note that the class does not begin until 6:30 p.m.  Until that time, everyone should be in the church proper area.
    • Parents are required to escort elementary age children to their classroom after prayer.
    • 7:45 p.m. - Parents pick up their child/children at their classroom
  • Please contact the office at 455-9310 if your child will be absent from class.
  • If Kentwood Public Schools cancel their classes or activities, we will cancel ours.
  • Cancellation information can be found on the WZZM and WOOD TV channels and web sites.
